1997 I attended an Ice breaker in Wexford Town. Men and women of varying ages, upbringing and professions (Design, Legal, retail, Student, IT, retired. On the face of it, few had anything in common. Besides all being gay & we attended GLOW (Gays & Lesbians of Wexford) After introductions, distribution of GCN (Gay Community News) discussing possible activities and items in GCN that caught our attention.
